During the initial setup phase:
- On the bottom right of the screen, hold down the page turn button, and then tap Next.
- In the top left corner, tap the Device Info icon that appears. Your MAC address will appear.
You may have to add your NOOK MAC address to the list of allowed MAC address. Turning off MAC address filtering is recommended. If you need to find your MAC address prior to setting up your NOOK for the first time, it will be displayed at the bottom of the Wi-Fi selection step during the initial setup process. B&N kills NOOK for PC, Mac apps I don’t know why you’d want to read an eBook on your laptop or desktop anyway, but if you do and if B&N is your digital bookstore of choice, you’re going to have to do it in a web browser or in Windows 8, because the NOOK apps for Mac and earlier versions of Windows are gone.
During normal operation:
- From Settings, tap Device Info.
- Tap About Your NOOK. Your MAC address will appear.
Nook Simple Touch
- From Settings, tap Device Info.
- Tap About Your NOOK. Your MAC address will appear in the list.
Kindle (non-Android)
Nook App For Mac
From the home screen, tap Menu, and then Settings. The MAC address will appear in the 'Device Info' section near the bottom of the screen.

- From the home screen, tap Settings, and then Wireless (under Device header).
- Choose WiFi.
- Tap the 'More options' (hamburger) icon, and select Advanced. Your MAC address will be displayed.
